Cut the avocados in half lengthwise, remove the seed, and then remove the flesh.
Using a fork, mashed the avocado to desired consistency.
Add the garlic, lemon or lime juice, salt, and chili.
Blend everything well.
Serve immediately or keep in the fridge until ready to use.

It tastes better if you put the guacamole in the fridge overnight.
Try to add a small amount of garlic first, because the garlic can be overwhelming. The garlic flavor blends well if left overnight in the fridge.
