Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Using your fingers (pastry cutter or fork), cut in lard and butter until it resembles crumbs.
Add the milk until well combined. Knead the dough 3-4 times.
Roll or pat dough around ½ inch thickness onto a lightly floured surface, then cut the dough using a 3-inch biscuit or cookie cutter. If you do not have a biscuit cutter, you can just shape them into 3-inch rounds.
Place the biscuits around 1 inch apart on the prepared baking tray.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Let the biscuits cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Serve the biscuits warm, it just tastes so much better when the biscuits are still warm.
