Filipino Sweet and Sour Sauce
Easy to make Sweet and Sour Sauce. The sourness is so subtle, and the sweetness is mild. This Filipino Sweet and Sour Sauce is one of my favorite dipping sauces.

Ingredients

tablespoons
vinegar
1
cup
water
divided

tablespoons
white sugar
½
teaspoon
salt
1 ½
teaspoon
oyster sauce

tablespoons
ketchup
4
teaspoons
cornstarch
Instructions
Combine vinegar, ¾ cup of water, sugar, salt, oyster sauce, and ketchup in a saucepan. Bring to boil.
While the vinegar mixture is boiling, dissolve cornstarch into ¼ cup of water.
Stir in the cornstarch mixture into the vinegar mixture until it thickens around 2-3 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.
