Ingredients

leftover pork lechon, cebuchon, or lechon kawali
½
cup
vinegar

cup
sprite soft drink

soy sauce

garlic

ground black pepper

bay leaf

Salt to taste
if needed
Instructions
Turn the stove on medium-low heat.
Combine the Sprite, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, onion, ground black pepper, and sugar. Bring to boil.
Add the pork lechon and bay leaf. Cover and let is simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt if needed. Let it cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Sprite soft drink can be substituted with 7-up soft drink, ginger-ale, pineapple juice, orange juice, or water.
You may add 2 tablespoons of oil if needed to add flavor. I usually do this if the lechon I was using did not have enough fat in it.
