It's fall season again. I love how the trees look in the fall. It is also time to harvest apples if you have apple trees in your yard. Our 2 apple trees are still not bearing fruit. Fortunately, our very nice neighbor invited us to pick some apples in his yard. We harvested a lot of apples from his apple tree.

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • ¾ cup white sugar
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
    • ¾ cup milk
    • ½ cup melted butter or oil
    • 1 egg
    • 1 cup finely chopped apples, unpeeled and cored

    How to Make this Recipe

    1. Preheat convection oven to 375 degrees F.
    2. Grease the muffin tray or line it with muffin liner cups.
    3. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
    4. Add the milk, melted butter or oil, and egg. Blend well.
    5. Fold in the chopped apples.
    6. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
