    Beef Stew

    Beef Stew is one of my easy go-to food especially when I'm working. I love this recipe because it is very tasty. My husband really loves this dish. I guarantee you, you will too. 

    RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

    • Beef
    • Oil
    • Garlic
    • Onion
    • Carrots
    • Potatoes
    • Celery
    • Beef stock or Water
    • Fish sauce
    • Salt and pepper
    • Cornstarch dissolved in ¼ cup water

    How to Make the Stew: 

    1. Cut beef, carrots, potatoes, onions, and celery into bite-size pieces.
    2. Add tbsp oil into the pan and pan-fry the beef until they are halfway cooked. Set aside.
    3. Using a pot, add 1 tbsp oil and sauté onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
    4. Add the potatoes, celery, and carrots and cook for 3 minutes.
    5. Pour pan-fried beef into the pot and stir for about 2 minutes.
    6. Add the beef stock and fish sauce into the pot and simmer in very low heat for 1 hour.
    7. Add salt and pepper if needed.
    8. Add the cornstarch mixture into the pot and let it cook for 1-2 minutes then remove from heat.
    9. Enjoy.

    Ingredients

    • ½ kilogram beef
    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 3 cloves minced garlic
    • 1 onion
    • 2 carrots
    • 3 medium-size potatoes
    • 3 stalks celery
    • 2 cups beef stock or 2 cups water
    • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
    • salt and pepper
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in ¼ cup water
