    • Lemon or lime juice
    • Salt

    ingredients for guacamole
    steps for making guacamole

    HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE:

    • Cut the avocados in half lengthwise, remove the seed, and then remove the flesh.
    • Using a fork, mashed the avocado to desired consistency.
    • Add the garlic, lemon or lime juice, salt, and chili. (I didn’t add chili when I made this because my husband can’t handle spicy foods.)
    • Blend everything well.
    • Serve immediately or keep in the fridge until ready to use.

    TIPS:

It tastes better if you put the guacamole dip in the fridge overnight.

Try to add a small amount of garlic first, because the garlic can be overwhelming. The garlic flavor blends well if left overnight in the fridge.
