Growing up, ginger tea was a part of our morning drink. In the Philippines, we call it “Salabat”. Salabat or ginger tea is a very healthy drink at any time of the day. As we all know, ginger tea has lots of health benefits including aids with digestion and nausea. I still remember that when we got sick like flu, we used to drink lots of ginger tea. The spicy taste of the ginger is very soothing to the throat and stomach.
I decided to add this to my blog because I thought it is timely. It is finally winter and flu season is just around the corner. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
