    Homemade Ginger Tea (Salabat)

    Homemade Ginger tea, a very delicious change from herbal remedies and stereotype teas. Very good for your stomach/intestinal comfort and has a pleasing spicy taste nonetheless. Try it, you will absolutely love it.

    Recipe Ingredients

    • Ginger
    • Water
    • Honey or sugar (optional)

    HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE

    1. Peel the ginger, thinly sliced, then pound lightly.
    2. Bring water and ginger to boil, and let it boil for 5-10 minutes.
    3. Remove the ginger, then pour the tea into a cup.
    4. Add honey or sugar as desired.

    Small pot

    Tips

    If you want a stronger ginger tea, boil it for a longer period like 10 minutes.

    What to Serve with

    Ginger tea can be enjoyed by itself or it can be served with bread, a muffin, or even cake.

    • 1 ½ cup water
    • Honey or sugar optional
