The oven-baked chicken wings with fish sauce are oh so yummy. I cannot believe the fish sauce adds that much flavor to these wings. My husband just loves how delicious the wings are.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken Wings
- Fish Sauce - If you have allergies to seafood, you might want to substitute fish sauce with soy sauce.
- Salt
- Ground Black Pepper
- Melted Butter
How to Make It:
- Preheat the convection oven to 425F.
- In a large bowl, mix the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, and fish sauce together.
- Arrange the wings in a roasting pan with a rack.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 425F, then brush the wings with butter and bake for another 5-7 minutes.
- Serve.
Tips
- I suggest starting with a small amount of salt because the fish sauce is already salty. I find that ½ teaspoon of salt is enough for me. If you don’t like too much salt, ½ teaspoon of salt might be too salty for you.
- Brush the chicken wings with the butter just before you take them out of the oven, otherwise but might burn your wings.

Hi Joe,
It is fermented fish, usually anchovies.
