This air-fried plantain is very easy to make and cooks in less than 10 minutes. This recipe can be a snack, an appetizer, or a side dish.

plantains sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon

    Why This Recipe Works

Plantains are cooking bananas and are really good for a quick snack. You can cook the plantain in the microwave or boil it on the stove.

You can also make minatamis na saging using plantains as a snack.

This recipe is healthier than fried plantains. It requires little to no oil.

    Ingredients

    ingredients for air fryer plantains

Plantain - use ripe plantain for this recipe. Ripe saba banana and regular ripe banana would also work.

Cinnamon - This ingredient is optional. It can be substituted with nutmeg, allspice, or cloves.

Sugar - You can substitute this for a healthier sugar substitute.
