HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE
For the Topping:
- Mix all the ingredients together. Set aside.
For the Cake:
- Preheat convection oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease 8 x 8-inch square pan, then set aside.
- Cream sugar and butter, then add eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk.
- Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix in the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the square pan, then sprinkle the prepared topping evenly on top of the cake batter.
- Place the square pan in the preheated oven.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 55 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
