Unique silverfish omelet for everyone to try. I wanted to share this recipe because I used to cook this a lot when I was young. Please let me know what you think of this recipe.
According to the package that I bought, the size of the silverfish is around 5-7 cm which is pretty much the average size of this fish.
Ingredients
- Silverfish (noodlefish/salangidae)
- Eggs
- Fish sauce
- Salt
- Garlic powder
- Ground black pepper
- Cornstarch
- Oil for frying
HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE
- Beat the eggs, fish sauce, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and cornstarch until
- Wash the fish then slightly squeeze the fish to remove excess water, then add it to the egg mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan, pour around ¼ cup of the mixture at a time. Cook the omelet for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Continue step 3 until done.
- Serve and Enjoy.
How to Store
Place in an airtight container and can be kept in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
What to Serve with?
The Silverfish Omelet is best served with rice.
