    Silverfish Omelet (Tortang Dulong)

    Unique silverfish omelet for everyone to try. I wanted to share this recipe because I used to cook this a lot when I was young. Please let me know what you think of this recipe.

    According to the package that I bought, the size of the silverfish is around 5-7 cm which is pretty much the average size of this fish.

    Ingredients

    • Silverfish (noodlefish/salangidae)
    • Eggs
    • Fish sauce
    • Salt
    • Garlic powder
    • Ground black pepper
    • Cornstarch
    • Oil for frying

    HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE

    1. Beat the eggs, fish sauce, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and cornstarch until
    2. Wash the fish then slightly squeeze the fish to remove excess water, then add it to the egg mixture.
    3. Heat oil in a pan, pour around ¼ cup of the mixture at a time. Cook the omelet for 2-3 minutes on each side.
    4. Continue step 3 until done.
    5. Serve and Enjoy.

    How to Store

    Place in an airtight container and can be kept in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

    What to Serve with?

    The Silverfish Omelet is best served with rice.
