    Make Your Own

You can replace vanilla and orange extract with a variety of flavors, like lemon extract, jackfruit extract, ground cinnamon, or nutmeg. I suggest you experiment with adding a few combinations of flavors.

    Tips

    • Do not dip the bread for longer than 30 seconds, because it will make your bread to become soggy or mushy.
    • Once you dip the bread into the egg mixture, you need to fry it right away.

    How to Store

I recommend to make French toast when you are ready to eat it. You don't need to make this toast ahead of time. It is quick and easy to do, it can be done in 15 minutes.

    What to Serve with

Serve French toast with butter or margarine, and your favorite syrup. I have a homemade Vanilla Brown Sugar Syrup recipe you might be interested in making. You can also serve this toast with fresh fruits like mango, peaches, blueberry, raspberry, or orange. Preserves like jams, canned peaches in syrup, or marmalade are also best.
