A delicious tender boiled cassava with coconut milk. This cassava is sweet and rich in coconut milk. The secret for tender boiled cassava, itโs the type of cassava you buy.

Where to buy cassava
I always buy my whole cassava in the Asian store in Edmonton. I went to see my friend who owns a Filipino Store, and I bought this cassava from the Philippines. The last few times I made boiled cassava, it was from either Vietnam or Thailand. I came home with cassava from the Philippines this time (Tatak Bulacan brand). And guess what, it was the first time I had cassava that wasnโt hard after I cook it. My sister loved it too. We ate it all in two settings. So, to those of you who have the same experience of cooking hard cassava, the secret is buying the right kind.
